Rearranging lines is just moving deck chairs. This is a flawed line up and MSL will just need to work with that. That said, I might swap in Kapanen for Demidov. The kid ain’t ready for this.

Can’t sub your franchise kid that early after one playoff game lol he didn’t come here just to sit and he didn’t look all that bad, a couple plays and couple good shots. Move him around the lineup to help him, don’t Therrien him to the press box after one. He needs this experience to show him what to do this offseason, won’t know exactly what it is eating popcorn. There’s 3+ other people that could sit before him

Bullshit. Put Demidov on a line with players who can get him the puck. Newhook and Laine, in addition to their other limitations, are a couple of fucking morons.
Kapanen would last two shifts, at most, before having to be taken to the hospital.

Not sure if you guys saw something in Kapanen that I didn't. But he didn't look effective yet much to me, in any kind of offensive capacity anyway.
And Habsy, see if you can get your hands on some pine tar and sneak into our room. Seems every time I looked last night one of our players was skating around with no stick. Maybe the Caps WD-40'ed them.
