he put him on the ice because he had no other option besides a tired second line.

the only other option was kulemin.
 
though maybe, in that situatino, you get creative, throw franson or phaneuf in front of the net and put one of the kids on the back end.

the play should have been, win it back to phaneuf and blast it off the draw.

instead they put phaneuf on the left point, made bozak take the draw awkwardly, and did that to set up a cody franson wrist shit.

Another 18+ minute night for mcselke. On for two goals against and zero scoring chances for.
 
they deserved a point didn't get one ... but they got points when they didn't deserve them good game, bad luck ..... Gunnerson is at best a 4th maybe a 5th dman on a normal team
 
anyways, that clarkson signing was a total disaster. and imo it's fire worthy.

it amazes me how often these guys so clearly fail to do their due diligence.

we're the team that gest duped, every time.

the only way to get rid of the guy might be to trade him and reimer for luongo.

Carter played well and showed a lot of guts ... in my books he got a lot of points for going against a real tough guy....

carter ashton is yet to score a goal in 35 career games.

d'amigo is a nice little 4th liner.

i hate clarkson, but you're overstating the options here.

Agreed, Gardiner played well ..... Phaneuf had a solid game , so did franson and Reilly played well but him an gardiner should be on the first pairing pp. just my drunk opinion
 
Just an opinion .... but Carlyle doesn't seem to be able to put players in places to succeed ....
Take Raymond off of Kadris line and either put in Clarkson to help with cycle or in front of the net or Damigo ......
