Jacques Demers will coach the Canadiens for the alumni game in Boston at the Winter Classic.
 
Semin and Chuckie on the same line is good for entertainment, not so good for their +/- however....yep, Eller on their wing would solve a lot of problems, and also make room for DD to stay at center.


And I also think 67 will be captain.....not Subban.

I'll say this about Alex Galchenyuk: he may be 21, but he showed up today man-sized. Looks like he added significant bulk over the summer.

Geez, it was just an observation on twitter. Didn't try to pass it off as high end reporting.
 
Yeah, I have heard Wilde on TSN990 and he does come across as a blowhard... much like Tony M. XPO should drop that guy's tweets.

Basu seems better, then again LeBrun pisses me off sometimes too. There is no one in the biz who kisses ass more than LeBrun. He won't say a negative thing about anyone in hockey in hopes of keeping his sources. He is like the CNN Pentagon reporter who always has breaking news but basically she is just the mouthpiece for whatever the Defense Dept wants to leak out to the public.

All of them kiss ass, though. Even Bob McKenzie, the top dog when it comes to hockey info.

Remember when Colin Campbell's emails were revealed & deciphered by mc79hockey to show that he went after refs that were hard towards his son Greg Campbell? Bob had to write a piece to defend Colin on TSN because he needs his sources. That article killed all expectations from me of ever seeing any journalistic integrity in anything he ever wrote.

It's also one of the reasons I love listen to Pierre McGuire, minus his drivel on analytics because he doesn't believe in them at all, he doesn't care as much about being critical towards players/management. But even then, he'll never go hard on*people like Lou Lamiorello despite being terrible at his job since the 04-05 lockout.
 
Is all depends how 27 perform, if he fail to perform in center, i don't see Habs trade 14. Even that i highly doubt Habs trade 14. Habs looks much better with 27 as first line center(in case of if he performs of course) and Plekanec as second line than 27 as first and DD as second line.
