Habs Season Thread: 2024-25 Regular Season

Apparently McDavid errr Holland wants Motembault.I'm fine with that but only will take the bum Campbell back if get 2 1sts and Bouchard.

Oilers are desperate. They're selling tickets on Ticketmaster for less than $60. In many cases the resale tickets are cheaper than the regular prices. Holland cannot worry about the future because he won't be around. He needs to sell off whatever it takes to win now and push all his chips to the center of the table. Draft picks won't save him. He needs players. Give them Monty and throw in Gallagher and/or Armia. We'll take Campbell's contract and bury it and we'll take Bourgault and the Oilers 1st rounder, unprotected, in 2026 when they will be a bottom feeder.

When you're a desperate team with little to no money to spend, it isn't about getting the best, it's about the best available. They still see Skinner as their #1 guy going forward but they need a reliable 1A and Monty can give them that. Gallagher will push everyone else to give more effort. Armia is the price they have to pay for fucking up their window. So is losing Bourgault and a 1st rounder. Holland would do it because he literally has nothing left to lose. He has to make it happen this year. Shit, we can throw in Harris while we're at it. They can always use another defenseman.

Holland is on Robidas Island while Jackson is calling the shots right now

Monty will help but not when every shot attempt is a 2-1 or a clear shot from 10 feet

Team D is atrocious , cut your deal for Monty and move on as the rest are pure trash

If Hughes can pry a non protected first he is executive of the year
