Habs Season Thread: 2024-25 Regular Season

Guaranteed anyone playing half way decent on this team over the last few years, save Suzuki, is one play away from an injury. That high ankle sprain stuff lingers on and takes awhile to overcome even after return.

It's time for HuGo to recommit to the tank. No Dach, no Savard, no Newhook and you just know that Monahan won't stay healthy much longer. Time to trade veterans for draft picks and prospects.
 
I actually don't want any of the forwards or d-men to get injured.

However, while I don't wish injury on any player minus maybe Jamie Benn, if Montembeault were to get a high ankle sprain tomorrow, I wouldn't be distraught or anything...

given what I saw with Laval last night, our next 10 years will make the Sabres last 10 years look like the 1970s Canadiens.

Yeah, he's not alone, but he's the type of player I wish would go extinct from hockey. He's the one player in particular that I would hate to have on my team because I just wouldn't be able to root for him.
