I think they'll send Poehling to the minors to start the season before calling him up after a little bit. From all indications, he's been doing well during camp.

I don't know if someone's going to take Juulsen or not, but he just needs to play. Whether it's in the AHL or on someone else's NHL team, he needs minutes.

Juulsen 37GP in the last 2 years & 91GP in the last 3 years - not 100% convinced he’s claimed.

Also a team claiming him needs to keep him on their regular roster, and Juulsen more than anything else needs near a full season of TOI at AHL level.

Per Capfriendly, if Habs reclaim him, won't need to place him on waivers to place him on the Taxi Squad or send him to Laval.
