You know I prefer picks in the future as well. Unless we get a first (unlikely now) or a second (also unlikely) I'm not interested in picks for this year.

Do I trade Dvo or Savard for a 3rd round pick next year? Maybe... on the fence.
 
Has to be future years. Or a flip this year, like us giving up a third for another second type thing.
 
As long as Toronto doesn’t get anyone good and they get eliminated in the first or second round, then I don’t care what happens at the deadline lol would like to add a Zegras or Cozens but that’s more of a draft day deal, if you can’t get better than a 3rd or B prospect, hang onto the boys and give em a shot at meaningful games, if we get the 14th and 16th picks that’s not terrible.
