Hey Nerds: Blockchain

Yeah both days the moves happened as news hit the wire. Yesterday was SAFE in the Senate and today is news of NY legalization vote likely coming next week. Historically these moves are just temporary pumps as some volume finally pours in. Hope this time is an exception but I'm skeptical.

Used some of my Thumb funds that I sold in the 40's to get back in on VEXT, 85c. Playing the oversold bounce and will buy more on a flush (with more conviction).
 
and as a bonus MSOS showed some relative strength; did not make a new low despite SPX and NQ getting schmeissed at the close

impressive, because I know you don't short/buy puts.

Puts made me green...otherwise my folio would have been deep red.
 
hope we have a classic gap down followthru tmrw (used to be common but now rare) as I still have a decent amount of puts in VUZI and SE.

also have a full size position in SMH puts...but those are more of a folio hedge

Well as I mentioned yesterday by the end of the day I was almost 100% thumb. And thumb was green. So they did the heavy lifting for me. Wasn't special or anything.
 
But going into tomorrow with some Ayr and Vext as well after trimming some Cresco, thumb and trulieve near highs of the day. .

Hoping Cresco knocks it out of the park tomorrow. It's the only way they don't sell off probably.

yep....I trimmed a lot of my high growth darlings, including DKNG yesterday.
 
All about playing the odds. If the odds say short-term downside is more likely you trim. If you're wrong there's nothing wrong with buying higher.
