Hey Nerds: Blockchain

Over the past few years I've done some sub-contracting for Starlight Investments...they are not the nicest group for sure, a quick google search will tell you that...but my work has led me to become aware that they are buying EVERYTHING.

100's of properties in T.O, that's where I am so that's why I noticed.

100%. My friend is PA has made well into the six figures for years just doing this; it's his full-time job. He kept hyping up Ontario legalizing it to me. I told him I don't want to commit to a new thing. But then I did in July where I was excited about 100-200 bucks. It has spiraled out of control now tho (in a good way) since I can't do anything half assed.
 
And if you've seen DraftKings earnings, this entirely makes sense. They bleeeeeeed money. They, and the rest of them, believe that getting people hooked is worth the few who take advantage of promos with discipline. Maybe they'll be right, idk.

Have to deposit 100k but they give a 30k bonus on that. Must play 130k worth of blackjack before withdrawing. EV = $129,530 if you play by the book and follow the chart. The more bets you make the more likely you'll land close to that EV. 26,000 $5 bets makes it statistically next to impossible you lose more than 5-7k with potential for profitability as well. So in a worst case scenario you profit 23k, best case 35k. And then it's Mrs. Presto's turn.

Not to mention since July I'm well into the 5 figures just from hedging/abusing promos. They hand you money. Those with discipline succeed.

In truth I can fire off profitable hedges instead for all of it easily so a bunch of the money will go to sports bets and hedging with other sites (promos on free bets/profit boosts will make them profitable hedges). I'll prolly only end up betting ~25k which is about the amount where you can really expect to yield returns close to the EV. I can do 5, 10, 25 or even 50 dollar bets and I'm not gonna lose more than 5k on the final 25. Point stands though. 25-35k profit and then it's Mrs. Presto's turn. 50-70k between us plus what we've made already since July (it's hilarious). Decent side gig.
 
People make a living off this shit and do way the fuck better than me; I'm nothing. I get it. It's addicting to bet with free money. I've placed hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of wagers on sporting events in the last couple of months and give zero fucks about the result of the games. They're all hedged so it doesn't matter. Just guaranteed profit. It's a different type of addiction I guess. Fun as fuck

Ended up with ~127,500 so there was some bad luck there. But $27,500 was the profit in the end.
