Hey Nerds: Blockchain

The good news is few understand what's about to happen. That right there is what makes it possible for your dreams to come true.

The thought of paying tons of taxes from gains prevented me from selling before. Now I’d pay 2x the tax if I could sell at two years ago’s prices.

My prediction

Wow, he is mental. I wasn’t aware he turned into that guy.

I remember him when he was a boring but a semi informative pundit on marketwatch.com

I’ll never look at lumber/gold ratios again

Not sure what's happening with the company but TSLA chart looks like ass. Couldn't rally with the rest of tech today.

Market getting fun again

Held META puts for 12 mins

In at 4.95, out at 8.25

Man I was really looking forward to riding cannabis to 52w highs. It was thin air to get there and potentially beyond if the market held up. But alas, no one is immune to a credit event. I collected multi-year makers worth of gains in the run but I suspect the fun is over at least for now. So I'm heavy cash just waiting I guess. Will add some boring boomer ETF shit slowly.

I bagged some weed profits but held on to some — it’s my bull play while I’m bearish elsewhere. It’s crazy how mid to late September is usually a great time to buy puts — especially a year before US elections

I usually scoff at seasonal trades but fuck me it actually pays off bigly if I don’t overthink it

Yeah I deployed a hold a core, trade a core strategy throughout and held my thumb core into today pretty fearfully anticipating a sell the news event + broad market weakness continuing just makes me feel like the dam is gonna eventually break. But I got the pump I wanted, sold, and now I'm having a hard time buying back.

The thing about holding weed or really a stock in any sector, is that when the market is healthy and robust it's the pieces of shit that give you the most gains (most shorted so of course the potential for a squeeze is greater). But when shit hits the fan, you can really tell who is the cream of the crop. The names that ran the hardest are getting hit the hardest today. Whereas the stronger names (in mostly all sectors.. Look at Google, for example) are holding up just fine.
