Hey Nerds: Blockchain

the other thing there is pretty good variance about how the tax status will affect earnings....at some point these pot companies are going to have dirt cheap p/e ratios
Yeah the re-rating process has already begun but it will likely be accelerated once the announcement is made. Of course, on the other end of it, the tax savings are somewhat mitigated from some deteriorating fundamentals over the past couple years.

but they're still cheap cheap products and way below 2021 levels so the deteriorating fundamentals bit is already factored into the SP.

Loads of companies that will be cash flow positive that are trading at market caps 50% below their annual revenues right now, it's pretty wild. They are headed to bankruptcy in the absence of 280e removal.

And then further out, the price of pot will come way the fuck down in the US. It’s ridiculous how much cheaper legal pot is in Canada

Yeah that's when they have to depend on brand power and shit. Not convinced. Just give me more hype blasts pls.

It's the beauty of trading speculative products. When things are euphoric we price in best case scenarios, squeeze hard and reap the benefits of presumed smashing long-term success. When things are bearish we often price in full on imminent bankruptcy (for companies not named green thumb). The game is easy if you ignore the noise during the euphoria and despair cycles, which is damn hard.

Yeah, I'm back into what I know and not going to stray from it. In fact, looking to shed some holdings that are in my wheelhouse because I want to push that cash into things I'm even more comfortable with. I was 30% of the way into building a position in something I've wanted in on for a long time, but then it took off, so waiting for it to come back (hoping for it to come back, even though that'd mean I'd lose the quick gain).

nice week for MSOS....hope it can end it by consolidating above 9 and start attacking double digits

The rising wedge pattern is creeping me out a bit, signs of bull fatigue. Broad market strength certainly helping prevent a flush though.

perhaps...but I see dips getting scooped....short interest is still massive

They are, yeah. Just putting my bear goggles on to prepare for all potential outcomes. Definitely more bullish than bearish overall but reason to be slightly cautious here I think...

Fridays are usually good days but I prefer the setup when things sell off leading up to Friday.
