Hey Nerds: Blockchain

I lightened up at 9.50...9.55 range
will buy the dip/sell the rips until it stops working

it's hilarious what's happening with the market

market: we're making ATH because we're expecting a rate cut soon
JPOW: you're crazy if you think you're getting a rate cut at ATH
market: ok daddy

I don’t follow this at all.

Decriminalization?
Rescheduling to schedule 3 from schedule 1. It will no longer be on par with heroin in the eyes of the FDA. It'll be more on par with steroids, ketamine, etc. And most importantly (through the lens of this thread) the businesses can deduct things that they were previously not allowed to deduct as sellers of a schedule 1 drug. Their effective tax rates were like 65-70% in many cases; impossible to operate a business like that.

Probably should be descheduled tho. But it's the US so you can't really expect more than this at this stage.

I bot some IIPR at 94 just because of Cup and handle shit...and it was at 105 when MSOS first hit 9.88 a while back

What a day. Paid myself on the Cresco move. CBST being held down, I'm going into tomorrow with quite a bit of it. 60c support makes me feel comfortable enough to hold overnight.

yeah...drug dealers can't write off any business expenses, nor get business loans at CitiBank

borrowing from MoneyMart sucks

what's the deal with CBST -- I read a while back that it was being punished, but forget why

Lots and lots of shares issued, including some recently, so selling pressure was rough today. They recently issued more shares to pay off some debt (and Traynor Ridge has a giant position that they've been slowly unloading). They're not in a great spot but in terms of companies that benefit from rescheduling, they're right at the top of the list along with Ayr and Cresco; they're one of a few companies with a market cap far under their annual revenues (less than half maybe?) and I believe they'll be cashflow positive after rescheduling + they've gotten their debt to a more manageable spot, though still pretty shit.

It was being artificially held down today, the ask was relentless. So I took a good bite today.. We'll see. These things tend to be opportunities more than anything but nothing is guaranteed. It's all just probabilities. The hope is that they "catch up" tomorrow but buyers have to show up. The company itself isn't anything to get horny over. They kinda need rescheduling or they were gonna be headed the $IAN way most likely.

I own AYR...also some VRNO and Greenie core
I rode CL hard today, took a bunch of profits and rolled some into Thumb and CBST. Missed most of the ridiculous TRUL move. I sold a couple of days before the Florida news was announced and didn't really expected a state level catalyst would move it that much. That doesn't really happen usually.. All price action as been political and balance sheet-based. Ah well, can't get them all. AAWH has been a favorite ATM too.. Sold that one entirely today. We'll see maybe I'll get back in.

Missed AYR as well, but that's fine. CBST and AYR aren't so different other than CBST being bloated and a much heavier float than AYR. Both are in legitimate trouble that absolutely need rescheduling though.

Nice work on Ascend!
Now that's a well run company that was inexplicably cheap for awhile. Low float and really flies when it gets some momentum too.. It has probably been the name I've traded the most since last summer.

In other news, I guess META has figured out what to do with all of their cash that they are swimming in... God damn, yesterday was a real buying opportunity across the board possibly.
