Hey Nerds: Blockchain

...but I agree, bounce is suspect...AAPL tired after carrying the load yesterday

Cresco smash.

Thumb getting some laggard action here. 'Lieve has the best setup in US MJ right now IMO. Risk-reward right at this very moment is fantastic.

Really like seeing some US MJ names blast the fuck off these last two days. In the past there has been a sector-wide selloff during the hibernation between earnings. Now we're seeing divergence within the sector. Which is healthy. There's still demand even these sleepy times.

I've actually been feeling terrible lately. I took a covid test yesterday, results to come today.

I can barely get any work done, my head keeps hurting and my focus is totally messed up.

Sorry to hear that.

I hope it's not Covid and it's just normal Harveys Chicken Sandwich withdrawal.

I don't think it's covid. I would be surprised. No fever or anything like that.

I think overwork and stress, and some bad sleep, are probably the culprits. But yesterday I woke up with a lot of muscle pain on my left side and a fair amount of pressure in the chest. When it didn't get better after all day, and with all the headaches, I said fuck it and went for the test just to be safe. The chest pains weren't anything to fool with. But today I woke up without that stuff, so I figure it was from awkward sleep positioning the night before.

I don't know about TRUL just yet. Feel like it could drop another few, no? I wish I was a Roku user so that I could've invested in it a while back. PTON bugs me too.

Btw, I really like my portfolio at the moment, though definitely not as much as two weeks ago. It's not safe, but it's also definitely not risky. Like I haven't got any Fastly or Zoom or anything like that that skyrocketed. Though some other stuff has done really well. The only laggard is WORK, which I still don't know what to make of.

Stress is the worst. Take care. And stretch your bony body once in a while.

I also don't use ROKU or PTON. They work for me!

Roku I honestly just didn't know what it really did, or whether the competition was any good or anything. I'm one of the few people on the planet whose main tv doesn't have internet capabilities. It actually does have ancient access, but it's so archaic it probably doesn't work properly. I bought it when it was top of the line around 8 years ago, just before the better stuff came out that made it so easy to use. And I'm almost never home so I don't really need it. I was actually going to upgrade right before covid, but got sidetracked, and now don't want the hassle of delivery, set up etc.

PTON I like, but I just didn't expect there to be so much disposable income out there for luxury purchases like this during mass unemployment and fear. That one I knew, but misjudged the power.

Not having regular street hockey games every weekend for 6 months now is a killer. Played twice in the past month, but the games are erratic with people not being committed (including me). My main source of stress relief and exercise then went poof with covid.

ROKU is still my top pick. All time highs even though half of wall street still doesn't understand the power of the platform. Fine by me. I get paid to wait. next catalyst is signing HBO to the platform

Similar concept as Curaleaf yesterday. Think they might have been mispriced relative to peers (Thumb and TRUL). They didn't quite get the move that Thumblieve got since March. I thought it might have been the market pricing in those two as the clear sector darlings, with CURA and Cresco a good amount behind, but perhaps I was off on that. The arbitrage between MSOs lives on.

But regardless, yes, it could be the ETF. Who knows really.

But anyway, just looking at the chart, the Trulieve setup is nice, but unfortunately a lot will depend on the broad market being kind to bulls. The volume on this SPX/QQQ bounce is kinda sad. Not really confident.
