Hey Nerds: Blockchain

@LOF what’s with the anger, Cathy buying is good news!!

She dumped my PINS and ROKU today —now, that was uncalled for
If she buys, it brings attention and other buyers. I need it to fall before I consider getting in. She just reduced my odds.

But oddly PLTR isn’t flying after she bought. I took the Citi block as a sign not to buy today, and that worked out because it dropped. So I’ll see what tomorrow brings. They have a bunch of analysts calling for a drop to $16 levels. That’s a bit worrisome.

But if Zoom is a possibility I probably sit out PLTR, and if PLTR happens, I think I let ZM go. Tough call.

Yeah, I saw, but it was meh, and then it dropped today, so her movements get a lot of news, but not that much impact.

Kong moved up a bit with her too, and then settled in.

Tough decisions, especially with the overall market being where it is. One of my clients is actually close with one of the PLTR founders. I'm going to see what he thinks about the company.

she's only responsible for a fraction of the daily volume...and in the case of PLTR, there is potential for huge insider selling as a significant lockup expired

Well the volume is enormous, like 170M last time I checked, so it's probably already happening and causing the downward pressure.

The thing that I find curious about it is that it's not a new company. It's been around for almost 20 years. And it does all this great business in the government space and is growing fast, but then with non-government, the growth isn't great. Yet they're projecting to do several X on their revenues in the next few years. Feels like something cheap to take a flyer on (by cheap I mean the number of shares I could accumulate for a nice position, and not the valuation).

I'd watch it closely this week once the initial selloff from the lockup eases. I've seen a $50 price target thrown around quite a bit. I've been looking at it myself.

I'm on a Clubhouse with Toddo and Ben Kovler!

Fuckface is also there, unfortunately.
How was it? What did big Ben say?

Bloody premarket btw. Ouch. Tilray was down 12% earlier. Nice enough bounce so far but yikes. They really came crashing back down quickly. Relieved I sold my last bit of a weed stonks yesterday near close. Still fairly heavy but I'm swinging my highest cash position since pre Georgia. May nibble but will be patient. This is what I wanted to see leading up to march. Just hope march is a rebound and this isn't the start of that bear market I've been expecting for a couple months now.

We've just removed you from the position of moderator at r/weedstocks. No hard feelings on our end, but after recently checking the log, it looks like you haven't been active.

If you feel you have more time in the future to devote to it, and are interested, feel free to reach out. Otherwise, we look forward to your continued contributions in the subreddit :)

Fair tbh.

1.6 million registered subordinate voting shares at US$35.50 per share. Yesterdays closing price was 35.35 USD. Ha. Thumb is no doubt the sector darling.

I tuned in late...didn't hear anything terribly new but it was fun to hear Ben talk about his specific strains/brands like the "Dogwalker pre-rolls" designed to add a little buzz while you're outside walking your pooch

Wouldn't mind seeing a CERE dump today. That shit is cheap.

Not quite updated - this was when the SP was $10. But still cheap.

might actually go up today
Yeah I'm going to be very picky with my entry on that one. Kinda want the broad market to settle as opposed to chasing. Perfectly fine with buying anything that I'm interested in at a higher price. Like paying for insurance. Worth it.
