Hertl would be great, but he'd cost a fair bit more to acquire and his salary is $1.2m higher than Dvorak's and he's a UFA next summer. We either lose him or have to pay him $7.5+ to keep him.
Let's just get Dvorak.

It all comes down to how much pressure Yotes ownership has put on their GM to rid themselves of long term deals for short term that can be dealt by deadline & execute full rebuild?
I don’t see demand in the marketplace with a few weeks to go before training camp opens - how many teams can add on Dvorak / are willing to, don’t see many suitors which brings it back to the original issue of Yotes ownership mandate on their GM

If MB could pull that off....would be a continuation of where he left off last off-season, which was a great one for the GM.
Only way that scenario could potentially work, would need to include a Byron contract to go the other way :
Byron + Poehling + two 2nds type of deal
