Yup. The ECHL team is going to be almost uniquely Québécois players, with the odd Habs draft pick/undrafted player.

The majority of those players signed to AHL deals are going to be headed to the ECHL.

Bouchard leaving isn't a surprise, even though it's extremely disappointing. He wants to be an NHL head coach and I don't blame him.

There's no path anytime soon for him in Montreal, where Anaheim seems like he'll be fast-tracked to the NHL probably this season.
 
This is going to hurt. Bouchard is great at his job but apparently MB cock blocked him and he's not happy.

I am disappoint as well. I would have paid him double what SJ offered. We need a pipeline of smart Franco coaches, otherwise we're always starting over.
