Laval Rocket Thread

Damn, 5-4 loss in overtime.

Ylonen, Condotta, Harvey-Pinard and Simoneau with the goals.

Three-point night for Ylo.

Primeau allowed five goals on 32 shots for the L.
 
Ex Hab Logan Shaw pretty much destroyed the Rocket in the Marlies two wins yestesday and Wednesday. 5 goals and 2 assists.

He had a good playoff run last year so i was hoping he get a jump on that this year, still early in the season so I haven't thrown in the towel yet.. let's not forget that with the history of Habs goaltending stars , there is a lot of mental pressure to be a goalie in Montreal.

Not giving up but I’m not as hopeful as I used to be. He plays small, which can be fixed, and gets rattled easily, which is much harder to fix.

But he's not in Montreal yet. He's only in Laval.
 
To play devil's advocate, which prospect do you really have high hopes for on the Rocket?

There's Justin Barron, sure, but after that it's a series of longshots. The leftover prospects from last year are the same ones who couldn't force management to make space for them on one of the worst Canadiens rosters in the last 25 years.

Yes, as a one time resident of Chomedey (albeit when I was about 4 years old) who still has relatives living in Laval des Rapides just a stone's throw from Place Bell, I am aware of this. But the Habs wear jerseys with a lion on them while the Laval Rocket wear one with a chicken on them. Big difference.
