Not sure. If it was being played in Laval it would probably be on RDS.Anyone know if we can watch this anywhere?
AHL TV only ($7.99)…. Can’t believe RDS couldn’t find a negotiation path to carry this game… w no Habs on TV, there’s got to be significant viewership $$$ on the table due to Redenbacher effectAnyone know if we can watch this anywhere?
Road game. They can't just load everything into an RDS van and drive to Belleville. Besides, we already live in a world where Habs radio broadcasts for road games are done from a studio in Montreal because neither the Habs nor TSN690 can be bothered to spend the cash to send their broadcasters out of town.AHL TV only…. But this isn’t any AHL road game and isn’t any hockey market - I’m positive there’s significant $ to be had by RDS because of viewership demand to watch Orville RedenbacherRoad game. It's just another road game. Orville isn't a 1OA like Bedard. He's a 5th overall second pair defenseman who will never be a human highlight reel. Plus, he isn't a "ti-gars de chez nous" so RDS has no reason to get that excited. I'm sure they'll be in Laval to show the next Rocket home game. But this isn’t any AHL road game and isn’t any hockey market - I’m positive there’s significant $ to be had by RDS because of viewership demand to watch Orville Redenbacher

Is it necessary to take a shot at the French to get your point across? I'm only saying this to see if you realize you throw it in constantly? It's just another road game. I do realize that I threw it in that post because it's a relevant point. If the prospect in question was a "ti-gars" RDS would have a crew tucking him in at night and making his breakfast in the morning. And that's not a shot per se, because if the kid was a local francophone kid, there would be a ton of interest on the part of the fans. There'd be a caravan of cars with Quebec plates headed for the Quinte Sports Centre in Belleville as I type just to see him play. Needless to say, that's not going to happen for Reinbacher. People in la belle province are more concerned with how long it will take for Joshua Roy's busted finger to heal than what Reinbacher looks like in the AHL. And I personally wouldn't expect to see anything earth-shattering from the kid either since he's projected to be more Rick Green than Larry Robinson and will never be confused with PK Subban. He's never going to be the reason anyone buys a ticket to a game. He's not Slafkovsky. He's a primarily stay-at-home defenseman who can make a decent outlet pass. Next to him, Kaiden Guhle looks downright flashy. Is it necessary to take a shot at the French to get your point across? I'm only saying this to see if you realize you throw it in constantly?
I disagree … the uproar over his selection (even with casual fans) has placed a bullseye on Redenbacher & large contingents of the fandom wanting to show they were right, which means they will tune indisagree....even in hockey mad montreal, I think the average fan can wait to see Reinbacher. he's a Dman...if he does well, it'll be because he doesn't show up in the highlights
if he was a local forward prospect like Lafreniere, RDS would figure out a away
