We are now into the second generation of fans who have not only not ever seen the team win a Cup, but haven't seen a front office that was even really trying to win one. They've had their expectations purposely and cynically lowered by an ownership mentality of institutionalized mediocrity for almost 3 decades. So no, Habs fans are no longer all that educated anymore. We no longer have an organizational memory about how things are supposed to be done.

19 years old and he's not a prospect? He's a full month younger than Hutson and a year younger than Mailloux. He's younger than Joshua Roy.
he is an NHL player now, prospects are not in the NHL. His age does not matter. Was 97 a prospect in the NHL at 18, is Bedard a prospect?

He's still a prospect. Next year should he not be sent down you can consider him an NHLer imo.
If a guy can be sent down for a bad slump he's still a prospect. On a competent team? He gets sent down. Another year for me.
