Fraser is incredibly replaceable.

I really hope we don't give Clarkson a dime more than $4 million (if even that much), but it seems inevitable we'll overpay for him.

Vinny would be a good fit, but don't see it happening.

In all honesty, I think I'd be most happy if we more or less stand pat in free agency. In a capped system overpaying for free agents is a pretty poor way to build a team.

Clarkson is good value at $3m. He will be bad value when (not if, but when) the leafs sign him for $5m.

Clarkson will get more than $5M. $5,5M+ is my thinking. There are simply no decent UFA this year and he'll get premium. Clowe getting $5M would be a travesty.

Won't happen.

Too much politics involved. He would literally have to choose the Leafs over the Habs and as I mentioned, poof goes the popularity and endorsements. He lives in Montreal in the summer, he won't do it.

He signs in Montreal or in the States. I put Montreal at 5% and States at 95%.
