Leaf Rumours

Out of all these rumored UFAs, NONE of the centers interest me in the slightest.

I like Clarkson and Horton as wingers. I like Stastny as a center in a trade.

These Weiss, Ribiero etc., rumors will honestly piss me off to no end.

I'm laughing right now at Montreal for using their buyouts and signing a piece of crap for too much money. I don't want to be laughed at for the same thing.
 
Mac is a player who looked a lot better when the team was shittier. Now he's struggling for us time with more talent around him. Dominic Moore version 2.0

I would be ecstatic if we manage to land Ribeiro for anything under 6m per, regardless of term.

That guy has been one of the most consistent point producers over the last 6 seasons, and consistently makes those around him better.

Him playing with Kessel and Lupul would be just insane.
 
Iggy would be cool, but I doubt he signs here.

Also, he looked really slow in that Boston Series. With the new conference layout, I think there are a lot of teams we play numerous times next season that would just make him look bad.

I thought you were just blowing smoke, but I looked up the numbers and he he's had a few years of around 54 percent just doing spot work for the Flames, taking defensive zone face-offs, and then switching back to wing.

Completely had forgotten that he was utilized that way in a multi-positional kind of fashion.

He didnt look slow. The pens slowed the game down. Their skaters werent slow. Iggy was no diff than sid and malkin in that series . He was winning plenty of foot races. He still has above avg speed.

Keep in mind that those are basically all key faceoffs. Which are often against the other teams top guys. Amd hes over 50 % on his career
 
Leafs apparently have a 5 yr/$20 million dollar deal on the table for Bozak; and apparently Clarkson signing can happen at 12:01pm tomorrow
 
He signs if they give him another year. Its gonna be interesting, but it is the business of hockey. If he signs in Calgary, I don't think Kessel will ever be following him to that spot.

The Leafs can offer off and under the table incentives much easier than any other team. If Bozak signs for 4/5, then I want to see his offshore accounts.

Bozak, Bolland and Clarkson is a nice off season for the team. I love Grabovski, but he is better suited for a team like Detroit anyways. I sure hope Grabo signs for Wings, man that would be amazing to watch.

Hah? Are u crazy? I never post there. And zeke I have too many sources now. I don't even scrape the surface, I don't really want to post about guys off ice shit that much any more. Not worth it. And Kadri scoping places in a few minutes? Wow, love him even more,I used to do the same thing, I mean what is it worth spending an evening at a place if there isn't anything to capture your fancy?

And apparently, I just heard, just now, that the leafs feel that they can sign Kessel IF, they sign Bozak. So MLSE is in tight boundaries right now. Nothing is for certain, but MLSE feels the pressure to re-sign Bozak.

Am I the only one who is fearful of losing Kessel, the guy is everthing and more that Burke advertised, no question. An elite player.

I laughed my ass off when my buddy told me that. He's also done security for some NBA players and the cast from Rookie Blue. Says Missy Peregrym is a stone cold fox and a great girl, even though she's like 5'1.
