I'd extremely doubt it.

Depends on the system you want to have, I'd defenietly take him on my team as a top 10 player for sure.

Probably not as Raymond isn't signed, so I guess that would mean Raymond wouldn't make the team, Colbourne or another cheap rookie stays and plays on the 3rd/4th line and the Leafs go with a very thin roster of 21.

The first $925k comes off the cap. Everything else stays. So you won't save $3.8 mill anymore by sending him down like under the old CBA. But you get something.

Tough to say. It seems really like the roster is locked down.

Who would they deal? If they could deal Liles, they would have a long time ago. If Fraser or Ranger or another fringe dman, they could've just not signed them in the first place. Not sure who the casualty would be. Unless it's a hockey trade with multiple players involved where we save $1M.

A one or two way deal means nothing, all a one way deal means is he makes NHL salary regardless of whether he's in the NHL or AHL. The rule is he would have to be put on waivers and if no team picks him up within 24 hours then he is assigned to the Marlies, if he's picked up then another team takes on half his salary.

I think the fact that nonis and Carlyle have mentioned that they don't need to be at the full roster means they may just go short for a bit. Holzer will be sent down and maybe colbourne. Hopefully joe won't be picked off on waivers
