55-60 point defensemen >>> 55-60 point forwards

except this year, at age 24, the 6'2" 230lbs Horton looks much more like an 80pt power forward.

If you believe the real Horton is the 30/75 player he is this year, you'd consider a deal like you proposed. But like mbow has pointed out, if he's the 60 point guy he's been since entering the league, the Leafs lose big time.

Also, Horton's been playing the wing. So, he really isn't an answer at centre.
