Leafs acquire Frederik Anderson from Ducks

Ward had brilliant numbers in junior and the AHL though. That usually portends a good, if not great, NHLer. Ward made the jump to the NHL quicker than most goalies.

He did what a lot of promising goalies do in his first two full seasons -- that is, have a pretty big dip from his junior/minor sv%.He emerged with solid numbers after this period and sustained it through the next four seasons. He didn't really decline into mediocrity or worse until the 2012-13 season.

2006-07: 0.897 (27th)
2007-08: 0.904 (27th)
2008-09: 0.916 (12th)
2009-10: 0.916 (13th)
2010-11: 0.923 (7th)
2011-12: 0.915 (16th)

Yeah they paid him to be elite early, but he was mediocre at his peak.

and then turned outright bad halfway through.

His numbers relative to the rest of the league for 2008-2012 are honestly better than I thought they'd be.

So yeah, I guess I'd revise my statement. He was at least an average NHL starter for a four year stretch, which makes him more than a JS Aubin.

meh, there's a lot better brews than the boneshaker. Had a Hop City Hopbot on the weekend ... yummy.

Boneshaker is one of the worst beers I've ever had, poured it down the sink. Just awful.

I'm loving the hard rootbeer, Not Your Father's Rootbeer from the States is tasty, and dusty boots from Oakville was good.

I feel like sorted lists like these, where 0.005 moves you like 10 positions, warps the reality of the situation.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised when I looked it up. He's been stinky for so long, it's hard to recall the good years at this point.

It's basically saying Andersen is Marty Jones? I'm ok with that :)

I still remember how Zeke loved the Raycroft trade at first.
It'll work out fine. Lou knows more than all of us combined.

There were stories of Dougie Hamilton being bantied about... I'd love to give them Bernier and Bozak for Dougie.
