Leafs acquire Matt Murray

Sorry guys, was told over an hour ago that it was only going to be 25%; was hoping it was BS. Any way you slice this, it's just a bad trade and a waste of cap space

I need zeke.

Zeke, baby, comfort me.
See you next summer.

I mean throw away the stats because they didn't do this because of performance.

Some reason Kyle thinks you guys are very similar to the penguins when they won. It's just weird. I don't even have to argue that you should have kept Campbell at that price tag.

Then again let's see how big the truck is that Edmonton is reportedly ready to back up to his lawn.

Actually I'm seeing the logic in it but seriously wrong dude. IMO anyway.

Like shit...but on top of multiple layers of more shit?
Again, I'm not a big believer in most goalies being difference makers.

We saw Freddy do his best and we still pooped our pants in Game 6/7s.

We saw Jack do his best and more poop in Game 7s.

If this team wants to win, it needs its forwards to not go to sleep in the most important game of the season. It's as simple as that. And it's not like we're letting Vasy or Shitsturkey walk. There's probably not much of a difference between Kuemper, Jack, and Murray. All coin flips.

And what was that stat about Jack having the worst 5v5 SV%? And Kuemper being a pure muffin man in the finals, but being bailed out by Vasy's bakery working overtime? I don't care much about any of these guys.

And if Murray comes with two years and sub $5M, and Kuemper and Jack come with 5+ years and $5M-$6M, I prefer Murray just based on that.

I wonder if the Leafs didn't like the happy laid back Jack style, and wanted someone with more of an edge?

I don't know anything about Murray the person and whether he has said edge though. I do know that as much as I liked Jack, I was a little put off by his carefree attitude about things and his weeping after losses.

It's baffling. You pay to get rid of Mrazek only to spend even more on Murray?

It will take a major turning back of the clock by Murray to make this work. Very hard to envision with his fragility.

Unbelievable Dubas would take this kind of gamble given the circumstances.
