Leafs acquire Matt Murray

I don't know anything about Murray the person and whether he has said edge though. I do know that as much as I liked Jack, I was a little put off by his carefree attitude about things and his weeping after losses.

Fun fact: I joined a new 32-team dynasty league where you take over a team (mine was St. Louis), ended up keeping and extending Husso.

But I needed another goalie, so I traded for Murray, but only because I got him with 50% retention lol.

Why? If he got Kuemper and paid him $6M x 5, and he proceeded to put up a .902 in the first round next year, we'd be happy?

You can't rely on any of these guys. You have to win by scoring goals, and that's been our problem all this time.

If we don't add a couple of good forwards and a couple of good lottery tickets, that will be much more disappointing than this.

"New"?

It matters to have someone good enough in there. Murray is good enough. Jack was good enough. Freddy was good enough. These guys would all be having Kuemper moments if Matty and Marner could come through in elimination games.

I watched the finals. Kuemper was garbage. Bad goal after bad goal. I'm not crying over not giving that guy term.
 
I don't think Murray is bad enough to make the Leafs sink in the regular season.

I don't know about durability though.

It was so fucking boring reading you guys talk in here without me, that much I can say.

I need to have a week or two to get draft and UFA stuff out of my system and then hope to take another vacay for a while. So don't worry, further absences are hopefully imminent.
