It's a shockingly bad place to visit. I'd go across the border to escape, since the U.S is right there, but that place is ALSO CALLED THE SOO. You can't escape it. Everyone seemed disabled or high.

Biggest bullshit I’ve seen is this always running to the Soo Greyhounds water well. You were supposed to be leading edge, innovation, the future of hockey. Leaving no stone unturned to improve the team. Where the fuck did that go? Who is this FRAUD in the GM chair?

Here's some more to keep you warm and toasty.

When Dubie traded for Jack, there were also lots of doubts about this backup we were getting. Nice SV% and Dubie knew the guy and it turned out to be a good pickup.

Dubie obviously values the familiarity with past players who have succeeded for him, so maybe he should get the benefit of the doubt here too. They checked to see if Murray was healthy, he's coming off a strong year with a bad team, and so maybe he'll be something.

Moreover, check out his stats. He was .920-ish (can't be bothered to do the math) over his first 4 seasons with a good Pittsburgh team. Then he had a bad year of .899 with them in just 38 games. Obviously injured, and then carries over to a shit Ottawa team and puts up numbers better than Mrazek with us. Small sample this past year, but looked good and did well.

The only issue I have with this move is the retention and return. I feel that could've been improved with a little waiting. Let them buy him out or pay your price. That NTC should've made it even tougher for Ottawa to do anything but eat the contract one way or the other. He held the hammer in this tete a tete, and dropped it on his toe.

I am really disappointed he's turned to the vets thing. I didn't think he'd be like that.
 
He inherited one of the best cores in hockey. I could coach this team to a 100 points.
