Leafs' Prospect/Marlies Discussion Thread!

Who’d a thunk that, when it comes to watching Leaf prospects, it’d turn out that the Olympics would be a more worthwhile watch than the WJC?

Assuming the Olympic tournament doesn’t suffer the same fate as the juniors after it gets started.
 
His 2018 draft suddenly looking quite good. For awhile it looked like Sandin was his only hit. But Durzi looks great with LA, Kral(berle) looks decent, and Holmberg looks good. Even if only 1 of Kral or Holmberg ever make the show, that's pretty pretty good with Durzi and Raz already solidified.

Early returns on him make me believe management want to keep this guy around.

If he is that potential top 6 guy who has speed , good IQ and size he is not afraid to use you hang on to that
 
Even if his IQ turns out to be limited (with his physical tools he should be dominant in the NCAA, and the eye testers jerking off to him without the high level production is where my concern with him comes from), he sure looks like he'll be more than good enough to be a Bunting/Kase type who can't carry a top 6 line, but can compliment the shit out of it. Wouldn't be surprised if he can do that sooner rather than later as well. He'll be 20 at training camp next season, so maybe not that soon. But 23-24 as a 21 yr old? Probably.

None of Robertson, Knies or Amirov actually need to be anything more than cheap, solid complementary guys.
