Sounds like it's not glioblastoma, which would be a near death sentence. Don't think he'd be skating if it was so that is good. Meningioma is the most common type of brain tumor and at his age survival rate is very good. Fingers crossed he'll be alright.

Poor kid. I hope MLSE goes all out to ensure this kid gets the best treatment and then the best support for whatever he wants to do (hockey or other). It would be small financially for them, and a huge difference for Amirov.
