Kid is still skating three times a week, according to his agent, and is getting treated in Germany:

Sounds like it's not glioblastoma, which would be a near death sentence. Don't think he'd be skating if it was so that is good. Meningioma is the most common type of brain tumor and at his age survival rate is very good. Fingers crossed he'll be alright.

He’s getting treated in Germany, which is where most wealthy Russians go to get good medical care.

So, hopefully that’s already been taken care of.

writing him off hockey wise. if he ever makes it to the NHL it won't be anytime soon.

at this point simply need to hope he can live a full life otherwise

Haven’t heard anything about a planned surgery at this point. It’s not a given there is one, I don’t think.
