I don't have many concerns about our drafting still even if I don't "get" every pick immediately. I think the processes they put in place for hiring and scouting are pretty strong. That's not to say they're always going to make the best pick but I have less fears we're picking Biggs etc these days.

Think 65 percent of things is our development program is so much better after we draft.

Hm. I thought so too at first but when I write it out Minten at 17 > Voit at 17 and he left Amirov unranked. So maybe not that far off.

Saw this earlier - just to add to this for everyone, two of the market inefficiencies the user talked about were picking guys who played their DY @ 17 yrs old like Minten, Moldenhauer, Voit and Lisowsky and overagers like Hildeby, Grebenkin, Peska, Durzi (there's a few more but I can't think of them off the top of my head)

With goalies in particular wouldn’t mind us keep trying overagers so we get another year or two or data as goalies is just so hard to predict.
