I dunno.

Only his final junior season was good—and it was behind a ridiculously good hockey team. His numbers in his first three junior seasons were pretty crappy.

Would’ve been nice if he’d had the chance to prove whether or not he did take a genuine leap forward, of course.

Most players don’t leave after their freshman season anyway, it was always kinda soon to talk about him leaving last year, IMO.

Yeah, I’m not worried at this point. Knies choosing not to jump to the NHL after his post-draft season was kinda annoying, but not all that remarkable.

But if he decides to go back again after this season, alarm bells should start going off.
