I'm all for leaving the kids down in the AHL for the first half of the season and letting them play a ton. But once they're dominating the AHL, they should be getting called up to the NHL for the second-half of the season and given a regular role.

Don't really understand not doing that for the sake of playing ZARs in the bottom-6, and having guys like Jarnkrok or Kerfoot filling the 2LW role.

And I also learned from this tweet that McMann’s been out for the past two weeks with an injury. Maybe some hope then that he’ll get called up?

What are the chances that he actually wins the HB though?

Yep

Highest PPG ever by an 18 yr old in the NCAA this season. Better than Kyle Connor's best ever as a 19 yr old season. Almost as good as Johnny Hockey's 20 yr old season, which is the best NCAA season ever by PPG. His .84 gpg is also the best ever by an 18 yr old.
 
Meh. It’s only the best season in like 30 years. Kariya destroyed him.

just think what Knies could’ve done if he was able to make the NCAA at 18.

Actually, looks like Kariya was in the NCAA at 18 but quanthockey doesn't have those seasons listed for him at all for some reason
