So, nobody taken ahead of him is scoring goals in the CHL at the same rate he is. Connor McMichael & Arthur Kaliyev come the closest, and are also picking up assists at a much higher rate than Robertson. Those two guys are also eight & three months older than Robertson, respectively.
And as zeke points out, most of the guys on that list are older than Robertson, some by close to a year.

Robertson is scoring goals and putting up points like an elite prospect. Abramov has cracked the 1.2 PPG mark and like Robertson, he’s young. He won’t turn 19 until the end of March.
Even our other 4th round pick, Nick Abruzzese, is tearing it up in his first year in the NCAA, with 10 goals & 27 points in 20 games (albeit as a 20 year-old).

If we are potentially a bit kind to Dubas and call 2015 a Dubas draft, and 16-17 Hunter drafts (which I believe to be the case for a couple of reasons), then his drafting record is pretty nuts (though a small sample)
- Marner (though I fully believe that Hunter was 100% on board here, and may even have been the bus driver)
- Dermott
- Bracco
- Timashov
- Sandin
- Robertson
So just the super early returns, and even omitting Marner (because it was a generational draft in quality and you shouldn't fuck up the 4th pick in a draft that god). He has still pulled up a stud defensive prospect, a legit potential top pair or #2-3 type defender, a guy who will probably find a role in the NHL as a middle 6 winger/PP specialist, a good 4th liner with some skill and Robertson, who is very much a top tier prospect. The 29th pick last year is already a very good NHL defender, and the 53rd pick this year would probably go top 12 if there was a redraft today. Just excellent, excellent drafting.

SDA might be worth mentioning on that list as well.
Disappointing post-draft season, but 1.34PPG in his 19 year-old season isn't too bad. And SDA's essentially a "free" prospect too, since Dubas acquired the draft pick used to select him by moving down from 25th to 29th and selecting Sandin.

Nick Abruzzese with 2G+2A night for Harvard on Friday. Up to 27 points in 20 games this year. 20 yr old Freshman so he should be doing this if he's any good, but he tore up the USHL last year as well, so worth monitoring. Probably won't see him for a while though. Harvard kids tend to stay all four years.
