Leafs' Prospect/Marlies Discussion Thread!

So it turns out that Fasth was injured to give Kallgren the chance in the playoffs, but at least Kallgren ran with it.

And he did sign a 2yr deal - but that deal included an NHL out clause.

At this point, the organization definitely has to stop behaving as if Joseph Woll or Ian Scott are actually real prospects.

Woll had a mediocre NCAA career, and he’s followed that up with two sub-.900 SV% seasons with the Marlies.

Then Ian Scott only had one good season in the WHL, and he’s followed that up by playing one professional game in the past 2-3 years because his hips are fucked.

Cut them both loose or dump them to the ECHL next season, and find some real prospects to give valuable development time with the Marlies to.

The vid looks hot.

But that sure seems to me like he's wearing a Toronto practice jersey and in a Canadian rink, which indicates he's a full-time north American player now.
