Leafs' Prospect/Marlies Discussion Thread!

I don't know why, but I've had the feeling that one or both of Niemela and Hirvonen gets traded before he ever plays for us. The better they do, the more I feel it.

Hoping that's not the case though, because I want to see both those guys in the lineup. Isn't Hirvonen ready right now?

only time I remember dubas trading prospects was in the Muzzin deal, where he traded Durzi (overager) and Grundstrom (who he didnt pick).

You gotta believe he's making another one of those at the deadline this year.

As much as I begged for a forward last year, I think it has to happen this year. The D will prove itself to be awesome and need no extra adds (I think he already got them with Benn and Mete, frankly), so he'll focus on adding scoring up front.

And that's where we're very likely going to see someone like Hirvonen, Knies, or Niemela exit.
 
nah, those are guys on the verge of contributing, maybe even this year.

he'll trade 1sts and 2nds instead.
 
Roni's had all sorts of chances besides the 3pts, too.

he looks way more dominant than Niemela, tbh.
 
Roni with another gorgeous feed for a tap in but it goes of the goalie's knob (of his stick).
