Yeah wasn't responding to you. I agree, if you can land a big fish with this name, you definitely have to explore it. Seems like a guy that people get raging boners over and I'm not sure he has the production to back that up. But it has to be for the right guy because it's not like he doesn't have potentially decent 3rd line+ capabilities.

Seeing all those clips of him since we drafted him though, I don't see how he isn't putting up crazy points. He has speed, strength, elusiveness, smarts, and scoring touch. It would be really weird to see him bust.

He really does remind me of Point out there, With maybe not quite as much top end speed.

On the flipside, I have never been as impressed with Niemela as his numbers would indicate.

Yeah I don't trust euro d point totals. Mikko Lehtonen is another example of that. This Hirvonen cat looks awesome though. First legit center prospect they've had in awhile

We probably shouldn't let two and a half games of a tournament affect opinions too much though. If you had Niemela high before this, he still should be there.

Oh I'm not changing my mind on niemela based on one tournament. Just saying I don't trust euro d point totals especially for d that aren't that toolsy; I've been fooled before but it's obviously better than him not performing. Great prospect, just a little skeptical is all.
