Any team losing their best defenseman will suffer. So ludicrous. Your logic is that of water is wet and it's mind numbing. Might as well say hockey is played on cold ice. It's just as informative.

A very good (and shrewd) idea, actually.

Speaks volumes about what the organization thinks of Romanov, though. Assuming they get Lauzon without losing Chiarot/Edmundsson.

Lauzon has also played RD - not surprising given his mobility. Also Chiarot enters his final year and I don’t see a extension coming..

Who said anything about our best defenseman? ANY of them gets hurt and we're back in Merrill-Gustafsson territory. There's zero depth.

It’s a solid move if the price is right

Spent a lot of time in the minors and is a legit top 4

I don’t think it means anything about Romanov

Our pipeline on D is 2 years away , we lack depth right now
