Everything's negotiable, including salary. It's just that players picked as high as Marner usually get the maximum allowable (975K).What's being negotiated on these ELCs? It seems they're all three year deals for just under $1m.
Is it just the bonuses, which are fully negotiable between the parties?

One note on Marner contract: he gets the "A" bonuses. Lou Lamoriello historically does not believe in them (see Adam Larsson), but...because negotiations began before he was hired, I understand he made an exception. Be interesting to see if it continues.
"Lou Lamoriello is old and set in his ways, he doens't listen to anyone and will never, ever change, rabble, rabble, rabble."
I have a feeling we're going to be seeing the Leafs do a lot of things that Lou doesn't normally do.
