  • A priority is making sure AHS (Alberta Health Services) cuts ties with the World Economic Forum.

  • She wants to hold AHS (Alberta Health Services) “accountable” for the pandemic.

  • She cites the fact AHS refused to consider using Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin to treat Covid as the reason she plans not to listen to or consider to any public health advice they have to give her.

  • She wants to grant blanket amnesty & apologize to anyone who was fined or punished for breaking public health restrictions during the pandemic.

To be fair, what's the best way to deflect from the last major "foot in the mouth" disease statement she made regarding Ukraine (where a good chunk of her electorate in the province have relations and/or related to individuals in Ukraine? This sort of stuff (at least for that province).

Unfortunately they've already done that. They do it damn near every weekend with their mini freedumb rallies. Outside of the 2 big cities, Smith isn't viewed as crazy because she believes the same stupid shit they believe. The NDP will pick up seats in Edmonton and Calgary but unless some right wing splinter party crops up to split the wingnut vote, there's no way they'll win a general election.

There's a reason why nutjobs like Theo Fleury and Jamie Sale live in Alberta. They don't get harassed for being idiots here. They get celebrated for being "heroes".

The Feds are just about the last people who should be taking shit for this.

The response to the occupation by the convoy was a series of cascading abdications of responsibility (and often tacit support) from the Ottawa police, to the municipal government to the provincial government before the Feds finally had to step in and sort shit out.
