If it’s a gateway to a EU passport, that’s great. Portugal is nice….

(Though maybe avoid Lisbon, it’s crowded with digital nomads and it’s rather expensive now.)
 
All I'm saying is that if you're thinking of Europe to get as far away from the shit show that's about to begin in the US, going to Hungary would be a frying pan/fire scenario. They already have a Hungarian Trump running things there.

Didn't you learn from Harris getting (to use a Wehavian line) shit pump annihilated, that you have to give someone a reason to vote for you and not just say "I'm not him".

Liberals should shit can JT and replace him but with who. Carney would do better. Joly is hot but is seen as dumb. Freeland has gone over the deep end.

No argument here. Your original post came off more as why would anyone vote for him regardless of who is running against him. But I agree with this.

Unfortunately any legit candidate isn't going to want to take what's likely to be an automatic L in the next election just to limit the damage.
