Philosophically, I'm fine with protests being "disruptive", that's part of the point of protesting. But yeah, know your audience. Doing shit that annoys and endangers your target audience is incredibly stupid.
 
Does anyone (Worm, perhaps?) know where and when Carney plans to make his announcement on Thursday? He's doing it in Edmonton but I can't see anything indicating the venue or time. I'd like to attend if possible.

I acknowledge I’m extremely petty here, but no matter how worthy and important your cause is, if you randomly decide to make me your captive audience while I’m sitting in my car and trying to get somewhere, I will hate and oppose you and your cause from that day going forward.
 
Better plan would be to not airdrop him at all. Let him run in the riding he was born in. The incumbent is a 65 yr old Liberal who has enough years as MP for max pension and the Conservatives got 14% of the vote in the 2021 election.

Talk that guy into riding off into the sunset to enjoy his retirement and let Carney run in the NWT riding.

it isn't petty in the least, imagine you are taking your wife to the hospital to give birth, or rushing a kid to Emergency and some asshole blocks the road, many people would willingly run the losers over to protect his family
