We already knew this will be one of the most emotionally charged and passionate elections in Canadian history. Voters will be passionate but that doesn't mean their votes count for any more!
Though of course the risk that we have seen in the data is that compared to the lib voters in many of the polls, the cpc voters are pretty much dead set and locked in and for sure voting and for sure voting PP. After 9 years of lib government they were always gonna be the more passionate group (trump has thankfully helped close that gap).

Yup. But those CPC douches have benefitted from the left splitting it's vote vs their unified front for 20+ years now. We should have been voting strategically this whole time anyway.

Yep. And also helped by a lot of Bloc support directly switching over to the Liberals in Quebec.
The two parties have essentially traded places in the polling & seat projections in Quebec since Trudeau stepped down and Carney became the presumptive new leader, for a potential swing of about +15 seats for the Liberals.
