Because sometimes it really feels like the right wing only knows pure projection, of course it turns out that Scheer was full of shit when he claimed he was an insurance broker prior to running for office. Of couse he was.

That party has been making fun of a drama teacher for a decade now, and it turns out that their guy was basically an office clerk in an insurance office, not a broker like he claimed. As close to no private sector experience as is possible. Like Harper before him...and Manning and Day before them. All career politicians trying to sell themselves as the "every man".

Yeah, 6 months basically in the mail room of an insurance office. He's as much of a career politician as you can get.

Trudeau had the credentials to be a teacher, and was actually employed as a teacher for years.

So it’d be more like claiming to have worked as a teacher when you were actually a volunteer teacher’s assistant for six months and never attained your teaching credentials.

If they weren't all a bunch of pretenders, they would have ample political hay in the fact that he taught drama.

I mean, I don't even think there's necessarily anything wrong with being a career politician.

Apparently Scheer does though, since he felt the need to cover that up by lying about being an insurance broker.

Read up on him being apart of Opus Dei

This guy would love nothing more to take this country back the 1500s

Yeah, the problem is that people tend to have negative views about career politicians, and want someone who can relate to the "common man", hence why Scheer is more willing to talk about his experience in insurance or as a waiter.
