No point in stalling, intransigence and playing hardball in the hopes of waiting out the clock for a federal election that’s not coming anytime soon and for a Poilievre-led government that simply will never exist.

Yeah, like finding a private sector consortium that is willing to build and own another pipe. That likely means they can’t secure a long-term buyer with whom to structure a deal.
An inconvenient market-based issue that is overlooked with all the political histrionics.
