Why bring up and develop a guy like Lilly if you don't graduate him into the role when it opens up?

Honestly, I don't care what the next coach does if he just likes pushing young players into the lineup and helping them swim whenever it looks like they might sink. Do that and suddenly you may find yourself with redundant expensive vets you could trade away and use their money to add more talent to the top end of the lineup.

Ultimately the blame falls on the players, but at the same time, when you're not icing your best roster and mishandling player usage, guess what buddy, you're a big factor.

It's crystal clear his time is up and he's past his best before date. The only question is how much longer are they going to wait.

I can understand not having a no-brainer first choice replacement not being there at the moment, but even if, then just fucking give Boucher the interim title and shake some shit up. Keefe is creating a toxic environment from the looks of things, and it's not super surprising that our big boys are falling off somewhat, and the kids are either stalling or scratched. This idiot is ruining everything.

That’s why I like Berube. He played the kids like Dunn, Kyrou and Thomas a lot. And maybe his tough guy, win at all costs mentality would rub off on the kids.

Is he a good coach? Who knows
 
I always hated Berube as a player, and he looks like even more of a fucking caveman now, just can't trust that guy since he fits the plug/thug former player profile that our current guy exemplifies.

He was a star until he got drafted, but then became a plug and early washout. I have no idea what impact his personal issues had on that.

I mean, Fleury had the same issues, no?, and look at his career.
