He has some rough edges - like he flubs passes for no reason sometimes - but he’s the only guy they seem to hold the odd lapse against.

Actual top stars aren't the problem. If your problem is that a 60-70 goal 2 way centre doesn't get angry enough for your tastes, you're not thinking hard enough about the actual problems on the team.

Sounds too hard. Better to just keep rolling out Benoit, and if we need to tweak, just flip him with Lagesson. Should fix everything.

Not sure Gio can be relied upon for hard minutes anymore either - especially on the PK. I'd be inclined to rotate him in/out with Lagesson.

Agreed they aren't the issue at all. Just stating it would be a shame to have this year wasted.

Did you see Reaves comments about how he hates not being able to play.

Question...didn't Reaves play for Berube in st. Louis? How was he used there....was he effective?

Cuz Keefe has really not done well with the acquisitions. Some are Reaves own issues, but....something has to give on the trade market or the coaching change soon and you gotta think tre has to be questioning some of the line times and player usage.

That's what I wonder about Berube and Reaves. Maybe Berube could use him.sparringly on the fourth Line that is used appropriately ie give him spot duty and try different guys on different lines.

I think that's our call. Roy should have been the sens pick, but they punted that.

Reaves should never play a single shift for this team again, no matter who the coach is. Dude flat out cannot play hockey. And for all his bravado he brings precious little toughness or physicality to the game even when he does play.
