Deeply untalented bubble team that likely would have missed the playoffs if it wasn't for 'rona.

The following season (the one we traded for your boy during) they did miss the playoffs and he had a 44% xG at the time of the trade. Noted analytics stud Max Domi had a 45%xG at the time on the same team.

yeah looks like he was damaged goods when we got him and his demise helped kill his team too.

But that jackets team was arguably the best defensive team in hockey the year before.

Should have traded for him the year before then, I guess.

Because he was terriawful all fucking year the season that we got him, looked maybe not shit for 6 minutes for us and then died.

they were in big trouble as soon as Tanev and Stolarz went down to injury -- who knew that would happen??? Just bad luck I guess. sports are so crazy.
