I love Octopus Garden. George Harrison intro and outro are some of my favourites sounds in any Beatles songYou take that back! Ringo only wrote 2 songs for the Beatles, and this was the better one! You can't tell much about a song only hearing it once, either (IMO). Also, the Beatles only have 4 or 5 songs in the entire catalog I would call meh.
There's one that rolls balls of shit around. That's it's entire life. Rolling balls of shit around.
it's rightly considered one of the greats because of the impact it had at the time, and all the things it helped usher into the music industry (albums as art, anything goes musically, great cover, lyrics on the back, etc.) But at the same time, it is a little overrated with several weak tracks on there. And also led to a thousand horrible concept albums. I do think Within You Without You and Mr. Kite fit in perfectly though. This ought to raise some eyebrows....
I think Sgt. Pepper is their worst album.
I sold all my vinyl a few years back, I had quite a few Beatles records, can't recall how many. The Sgt. Pepper album was in near mint condition from lack of play.
With A Little Help From My Friends, (I liked Joe Cocker's version better), A Day In The Life, Lucy In The Sky, and the title track are the best of the album IMO. The rest, bleh.

Until today I didn't realize anyone over 8 liked that song!See I just listened to Octopus’s Garden and, probably just like 18 year old me felt, I was like meh. I don’t necessarily need to hear that again.
Yes, exactly. The meh category can also be called crap, depending on which song.I'm a diehard Beatles guy but I'm not one of those folks that thinks everything they did was brilliant! They put out plenty of junk.

If he or anyone else watched it, they would. It's the all time great.Presto also loves Dallas.
Next we're gonna hear that Obla di Obla da is the best composition since Mozart
I’ve never heard the Beatles song but do know RaffiFuck. I just saw that even Raffi covered Octopus Garden, so it’s definitely not a song for kids
