This is still one of the oddest moves to me. It’s not like this guy was some elite player, but they sign him and now after such a long layoff and already a quarter into the season, reasonably expect what?

Hak going in is no shocker. He should be a good bottom pair and pk guy.

Hak was used in a much bigger role than that in dallas and was decent. Should be better than the likes of Boosh and Schenn were.....unless the injury has permanently reduced him.

The more interesting question is who comes out.

A Benoit-Hak bottom pair and 2nd pk pair was likely the original plan coming into the year, but Timmins has played pretty well and the team needs puck moving. But then again if timmins is in then one of he or hak would have to play the off side.

It would be nice if Hak could play at his usual level and give us the possibility of a Mo-Hak pair and an OEL-Timmins pair.

I'd bump the PK into the good category myself. Killed 56 of 66 penalties to start the season.. pretty, pretty efficient.

Someone here that went to a recent game mentioned that he noticed Domi got hurt and was laboring on the bench for much of the game. Since then he's had a bunch of maintenance days. So yeah, clearly hurting. But it's a recent injury.

Domi another maintenance day. He's nursing something for sure.
He’s sitting on a big goose egg, waiting for it to hatch after a quarter of the season.

He must’ve strained something doing that incredibly deceptive patented leg kick of his, 20 feet before he gets to the goal.
