This will give them the reason to play some good young talent. They can never do it just because they should, they have to be forced into it. McMann played real minutes for the first time because everyone got the flu.

Yeah, that super sneaky leg kick looked a little jerky lately.

Nothing looked off. They’re just giving him time off without calling it a healthy scratch because he’s been junk.

As I recall, not only were injuries what finally forced them to give McMann a shot, but he was also about to be put on waivers due to a cap/roster crunch, before a last minute injury stopped them.

You mean, actually put on waivers and cleared somehow.
 
Oh I can’t remember the timing of it. But I’m pretty sure it was mid season. And then Tre made some hilarious statement about having had big plans for him all along - and yet having risked losing him for squat.

I think it was a flu bug, not an injury, that prevented him from being waived

they were about to then everyone got sick and he got back in the lineup and was too good to bench, is my recollection
 
coach says holmberg at C tonight. we don't know lines but i'm guessing he goes between willy and knies. This is a big opportunity for him - he's been complete ass this year but i still think there could be something there, and this is by far the best pair of wingers he's got to play with.....maybe ever. Here's his chance. Maybe his last chance with minten and grebs knocking on the door.

A Robertson-Minten-Grebenkin line could be fun too.

Also says Benoit is in and Hakanpaa out. Hak didn't play much in the 2nd half of last game i wonder if his knee is barking already.
